  1. 🚀 Lists Are Now Live (Beta)

    New Feature
    mhxtdqvtys

Lists have officially launched on BoxOfficeBuz.

You can now create, organize, rank, and share collections built around the movies, TV shows, people, seasons, and episodes you care about most.

Unlike many list features that only support movies, BoxOfficeBuz Lists are designed to work across the entire platform. Whether you're creating a ranking of your favorite TV seasons, tracking standout performances from an actor, or building a mixed collection of shows and movies, you now have a flexible way to organize and share them.

This first release includes ranked and unranked lists, public, unlisted, and private visibility options, custom titles and descriptions, shareable list pages, automatic cover generation, and a dedicated dashboard to manage everything you've created.

We're already working on the next phase of improvements, including collaborative lists, custom cover images, improved discovery, exports, list discussions, and ways to follow lists and creators across the platform.

Lists is currently in beta, and this is only the beginning. We're actively refining the experience and would love your feedback as we continue building.

We can't wait to see what you create.

  2. 📅 Calendar Mode is now live for Watchlist

    Improvement

We've added a new way to view and manage your watchlist.

With Calendar Mode, you can see upcoming episode releases, season premieres, multi-episode drops, and future releases all in a simple calendar view. Instead of hunting through individual show pages, you can quickly see what's coming up and plan your next watch session.

This is especially useful if you're following multiple series at the same time. Whether you're keeping up with weekly releases or waiting for the next season of a favorite show, Calendar Mode makes it easier to stay on top of everything you're watching.

We're actively testing and refining this feature, and your feedback plays a huge role in where it goes next. Expect additional improvements and new watchlist features as we continue building on this foundation.

Thank you for helping shape BoxOfficeBuz. Every suggestion, bug report, and piece of feedback helps make the platform better for movie and TV fans.

  3. 🎬 Streamed On – v1.0 is Live!

    New Feature
    su8ordsh5o

Today we're launching Streamed On v1.0, a new way to discover where movies and TV shows are available to watch.

Every supported title now includes a Streamed On section that shows available services, availability types such as streaming, rent, or buy, and region-specific availability information.

We're starting with United States availability for visitors who aren't signed in. If you have a BoxOfficeBuz account, you can now set your preferred country and we'll display regional streaming information whenever it's available.

This feature is still in active testing, so you may occasionally notice missing services, outdated availability, or other inconsistencies while we continue improving our data and syncing processes. Accuracy and coverage will continue to improve over the coming months.

This launch is also the foundation for several streaming-focused features already in development, including dedicated streaming service pages, New on Streaming discovery views, historical availability tracking, additional regional support, and faster update syncing.

As always, BoxOfficeBuz is built with community feedback. If something doesn't look right or you have ideas for improvements, we'd love to hear from you.

Thank you for helping us build a better home for movie and TV fans ❤️

  4. 🎉 Watchlists Just Got Smarter. Season-Level Tracking Is Here

    New Feature
    Improvement
    screencapture-boxofficebuz-user-watchlist-2026-02-04-16_48_11

We've shipped a major upgrade to watchlists for TV fans.

Until now, TV series could only be tracked at the show level. Starting today, you can track progress at the season level, making it much easier to manage long-running shows and keep track of where you actually are.

When you add a series to your watchlist, available seasons are automatically ready to track. Each season can have its own status, allowing you to plan, watch, and complete seasons independently instead of treating an entire series as a single item.

This change makes watchlists far more useful for television. No more marking a show as completed when you've only finished a few seasons, and no more trying to remember where you left off months ago.

Season tracking is also an important foundation for future watchlist improvements. It opens the door for better progress tracking, more detailed watchlist statistics, smarter calendar experiences, and other TV-focused features we already have planned.

As always, this update was driven by community feedback. Thank you to everyone who continues to share ideas and help shape BoxOfficeBuz.

  5. User Accounts Are Live!

    New Feature

We’ve officially launched user accounts on BoxOfficeBuz 🎉

User accounts have officially arrived on BoxOfficeBuz.

You can now create an account, build your personal watchlist, and post reviews for your favorite movies and TV shows. This is an important milestone for the platform and the first step toward making BoxOfficeBuz a more personalized experience for every fan.

With an account, you can securely sign up and log in, save titles to your watchlist, and create or edit your own reviews. As always, BoxOfficeBuz remains completely ad-free and privacy-focused.

This release lays the foundation for several account-related features we already have planned, and we're excited to share more as development continues.

Thank you to everyone who has been following the project, providing feedback, and helping shape the future of BoxOfficeBuz.

If you have ideas for features you'd like to see next, we'd love to hear them.
